Watch: AS Roma Unveils New Signing Paulo Dybala In Grand Style

Roma unveiled new signing Paulo Dybala in spectacular fashion on Tuesday night, with the striker receiving an emperor-like welcome in the Eternal City.

Dybala, who bid an emotional farewell to Juventus after seven years at the end of last season, appeared to be set for a move to Inter Milan for a long time.

However, with Inter opting to re-sign Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku, the Argentine striker was forced to explore elsewhere in Italy if he wanted to stay in Serie A.

Dybala’s Spectacular Unveiling

In fact, we’d go so far as to say that the welcome he received as part of his official unveiling is one of the most incredible we’ve ever witnessed.

Yes, we’re not exaggerating when we say that the breath-taking atmosphere in Rome elevated it to a level comparable to Cristiano Ronaldo being presented in front of a packed-to-the-rafters Bernabeu.

The stages for Dybala’s big unveiling were set up at the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana in Rome’s EUR section, as per Football Italia.

Thousands of enthusiastic Roma fans converged on the runway where the Fendi fashion brand does its shows in a cauldron of excitement.

The giant, white headquarters of the fashion brand, built during the reign of Benito Mussolini, was lit up in the red and yellow colours of Dybala’s new employers.

The man himself then arrived in Roma jersey to meet the ecstatic fans, who began singing the club’s anthem as if a big game at the Stadio Olimpico was about to begin.

However, believe us when we tell that there is no way we could possibly describe the epic scenes in a way that would do them justice, so make sure to check out what has to be one of football’s greatest ever transfer unveilings for yourself down below:

As the crowd screamed and celebrated, the Argentine took selfies with them.

And he performed his signature celebration, which was well received by the Romans.

One person called it a  “insane delirious welcoming”  while another just stated “magnifique.”
