Napoli manager Luciano Spalletti was presented a customised Napoli shirt with his face on it during the club’s Scudetto celebrations.
After the players, staff, and legendary coffee man Tommy Starace, who even performed his iconic dance that so inspired Dries Mertens, the coach was the last one out in the parade of Champions of Italy at the Stadio Maradona.
In jubilation, Spalletti was thrown into the air by his players before catching his breath.
Napoli celebrated their third Serie A title at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Sunday after defeating Fiorentina 1-0 in a league match. Luciano Spalletti, the oldest manager in Italy (64) to win a league title, was presented with a special edition Napoli shirt featuring his face.

“Clearly Naples really is the city of miracles because if you managed to get me to win a title, anything can happen,” Spalletti said to the crowd during the title celebrations. If we could transform the love in this stadium into electricity, we could light up every single arena in Serie A.”

Prior to joining Napoli, Spalletti was most known for his two spells at Roma, where he won two Italian Cups and the Italian Super Cup for a club that had gone through four managers and was on the verge of relegation the season before he joined in the summer of 2005.
He had brought tiny Udinese into the Champions League spots the previous year, and at Roma he would do the same while also being the man behind one of the century’s most significant tactical developments.
The recently crowned champions will be back in action in Serie A on Sunday when they face Monza.
