Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos were once strong competitors on opposing sides of the Clasico divides in Spain, and it appears that those days at Barcelona and Real Madrid have not been forgotten following an exchange of words in PSG training. The two are now in Japan as PSG strengthens their preparations for the 2022–23 season.
Prior to a friendly match against Gamba Osaka, Messi snuck by a World Cup-winning defender during a warm-up. However, he was stopped after flashing the Spaniard a clean pair of heels, and he seemed to convey to the former Real Madrid captain that he wasn’t pleased by the play by hitting the ball into the bottom corner.

What Will Messi’s Season In 2022-2023 Be?
The dynamic Argentine escaped the hands of a clubmate with no permanent injuries thanks to his fast feet, which allowed him to evade hard contact and score.
He has scored once while playing for PSG during their preseason tour in 2022, with three goals total.
Going into his second season with the defending Ligue 1 winners, it is expected that an all-time great will find a spark.
Even though Messi only managed 11 attempts throughout all competitions last season, with only six of those goals coming in the French top division, he is still under contract for another 12 months and will be optimistic that there will be many more goals to come if Sergio Ramos can keep him out of the doctor’s office.
