Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes November will decide if the North Londoners will be title challengers in the Premier League this season.
The Gunners currently sit in second place but are level with Manchester City and Liverpool on 23 points at the top of the league after seven wins in their last eight games.
Wenger’s side thrashed Sunderland 4-1 at the weekend and are heading into a tough month of fixtures high up the league and in superb form.
Arsenal face Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Bournemouth in the Premier League in November and Wenger believes it’s a key month to determine whether they’ll challenge.
“We now have difficult games coming up, with a difficult November, so by the end of November we will know more about ourselves,” Wenger said, via the Independent.
“The desire is there and the mentality is great, though. There is great togetherness, we have quality as well, so they are good ingredients. But we have to show that we can do it week in and week out.”
The Gunners comfortably beat Chelsea 3-0 last month but the Blues were a different side back then with Antonio Conte flipping their form on its head with a tactical change.
They’re now a threat in the title race, sitting just one point behind the top three, so Arsenal have to keep up their excellent results through November.
