West Ham Demand Over £100m For Arsenal Target Declan Rice

West Ham United are reportedly willing to sell Declan Rice this summer transfer window, but will only do so for a fee in excess of £100m.

The 24-year- old’s future is currently up in the air, with many expecting him to leave the Hammers at the end of the 2022-23 season.

Arsenal appear to be the frontrunners for his signature, with reports claiming that the Gunners are looking to sign him for around £80m this summer.

According to the Evening Standard, while David Moyes’ side are resigned to losing him, they are unwilling to sell for less than their valuation.

According to the report, West Ham want ‘well over £100m’ for the England international, who has a contract with the London Stadium until June 2024 with the option of an additional year.

Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Manchester City have all been linked with the midfielder, but Arsenal are thought to be the most interested.

Rice has been a key player for Moyes’ side this season, appearing in 25 games across all competitions and contributing one goal and three assists.

Rice hinted during the 2022 World Cup that he planned to leave the Hammers in the near future.

West Ham, on the other hand, has had a disappointing season, finishing 18th in the Premier League table with only 15 points from their first 19 games.

Rice made his West Ham debut in 2017, and he has now played 220 times for the club in all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing 13 assists.

Arsenal are said to be optimistic about signing the Hammers captain ahead of next season, after identifying him as their top target during the summer transfer window.
