West Ham United is in negotiations with Borussia Dortmund to acquire German striker Niclas Fullkrug in an attempt to bolster their front line in front of the upcoming season.
West Ham has been pursuing Fullkrug, who scored 15 goals for Dortmund last season, more aggressively after showing interest in Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran this summer.

After assisting his side in making it to the Champions League final in June, the 31-year-old scored twice for Germany in the European Championship this summer.
It’s still unclear if West Ham and Dortmund can come to a deal, let alone if they can persuade Fullkrug to join the Premier League, reports Telegraph.
Additionally, West Ham is still attempting to close a deal on Aaron Wan-Bissaka, the full-back for Manchester United. With one year left on his United contract, the 26-year-old is up for grabs and West Ham has joined the race.
This summer, West Ham has signed winger Luis Guilherme from Palmeiras (£25 million) and defender Max Kilman from Wolves (£40 million), for a total of almost £65 million.
They have made about £40 million in sales during this window, mostly from the £18 million transfer of midfield player Flynn Downes to Southampton, who were just promoted.
