Paris Saint-Germain players Kylian Mbappe and Neymar responded perfectly to concerns that their friendship was strained by teaming up to demolish Lille on Sunday.
The two were in excellent form as Mbappe scored three goals and Neymar added two goals and three assists in a 7-1 victory.
According to reports, the atmosphere in the PSG locker room had become toxic as a result of arguments between the French and Brazilian attacker, which were made worse by a dispute over a penalty during the 5-2 victory over Montpellier last week.
However, they worked well together as they thrashed Lille on Sunday. One goal in particular stood out as Mbappe performed a dummy to allow a fantastic opportunity to fall in front of Neymar to score his second.

What Happened Between Neymar And Mbappe?
Early in the season, Mbappe had displayed signs of frustration and called for greater respect in the Parc des Princes locker room.

PSG made steps to end the drama within the team as Mbappe and Neymar’s rivalry heated up, many outlets reported.
The club requested that the internal concerns be kept confidential and instructed the pair to put their differences behind them for the benefit of the team at a team meeting following last week’s penalty disagreement, which is said to have made the strained relationship public.
The two were really on fire on Sunday, so it appears the meeting was a huge success.
