The Brazilian newcomer may be able to fill a variety of roles on the front line. Barcelona may rely on Roque to start as the starting left winger because Ferran Torres is another option to play as the team’s main striker in Lewandowski’s absence.
His recent training regimen has also been quite unconventional. The Barcelona forward may have a significant increase in opportunities in the upcoming games.
Xavi appears to believe that the young player performs best when paired with a more physically powerful number nine. If Ferran Torres plays next to him as a replacement for Lewandowski who appear to fit Roque as an attacking partner for Barcelona—this could also work to his advantage.
