Summer signing Granit Xhaka today arrived at London Colney for his first official day as an Arsenal player following a break.
The Gunners landed the Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder for a fee in the region of £34million in May before he joined up with the Switzerland squad for Euro 2016.
Xhaka arrived at Emirates Stadium for a tour of the facilities after the Swiss were sent crashing out of the European Championships by Poland at the Round of 16 stage earlier this month.
“It’s amazing, I love it,” he said looking out at the Emirates pitch on his last visit.

And the 23-year-old was back in north London on Thursday as he joined his new team-mates and pulled on the club’s training gear to officially begin life as a Gunner.
Xhaka is not expected to feature in Friday’s pre-season friendly against RC Lens, though the Arsenal recruit will travel with the squad on next week’s tour of America.
Arsene Wenger’s side are due to face MLS All-Stars, Chivas de Guadalajara and Viking FK before returning to Europe to finish their pre-season schedule against Manchester City in Gothenberg.
