Barcelona star Lamine Yamal made a comeback to the starting lineup for the Catalan giants on Tuesday.
The teenage sensation once again played a crucial role for his team, providing out two assists and being involved in the third goal. He had a significant role in the latter two goals, which were the result of a move that is increasingly becoming a trademark outside of the boot or “trivela” pass.
The 17-year-old, who displayed this ability to spectacular effect against Villarreal earlier in the season, was back to his best against RCD Mallorca and played a key role in their 5-1 victory.
The Spain international’s assist for Raphinha, which came from the right side of the box and allowed the Brazilian to ghost for an easy goal, was the first time his trivela caused trouble for the opponents after one attempt was cleared.

According to Football Espana, speaking after the match to TV3, Lamine Yamal met questions about his passes with a smile.
“It’s something that I do well, and I will keep doing it. It helps the team, and I will continue to try and do so. L2 is the button on FIFA, I think,” he laughed.
Despite playing 45 minutes against Las Palmas on Saturday after missing almost a month due to an ankle injury, the teenage sensation was back in the starting lineup for their trip to Son Moix.
“My ankle is perfect, I’m ready to play whenever I’m needed.”
Barcelona will visit Real Betis in their next league match, after which they are going to travel to Germany to play Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League.
