Barcelona forward, Lamine Yamal is expected to become one of Adidas’ trademark players, following in the footsteps of Jude Bellingham and Lionel Messi.
Adidas, a sportswear manufacturer, stated earlier this year that Yamal would wear their ‘X Crazyfast’ line of boots in both domestic and European competition as part of a long-term partnership.
Since he first appeared in the footballing scene Lamal, 17, has been predicted to become Adidas’ marquee player after Messi retires.
Additionally, according to FootyHeadlines as reported by Sport Bible earlier this week, the teenage sensation will soon have his own iconic emblem and footwear as an Adidas signature player.
In fact, Barcelona’s number 19 will soon have his own clothing line in addition to other lines if Messi’s collaboration with the firm is a hint.
The aforementioned article claims that Yamal is ‘well poised’ to become Adidas’ leading ambassador for the speed boot silo due to his ‘excellent performances’ for both club and country.
“I am proud to join adidas as they have always been the brand of the best,” the Barcelona forward said back in February, after the news emerged around the partnership.

“Growing up, I idolized Leo Messi who has been with Adidas since I first started watching football. I look forward to the many years ahead with Adidas.”
Considering his age, Lamal’s rumored contract with Adidas is rather impressive. For instance, NBA legend Michael Jordan signed a five-year endorsement contract with Nike at the age of just 21.
