Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure will reportedly miss the game against PSG in the Champions League as he has not recovered from his heel injury.
Toure played the full 90 minutes during the 1-0 defeat to Manchester United in the Manchester derby but he subsequently withdrew from international duty with the Ivory Coast due to complaints over a heel injury.
He was left out of City’s 4-0 victory over Bournemouth on the weekend in order to try and make sure that he was fully fit for the match against PSG in the Champions League.
However according to a journalist who works for Canal+ Afrique Toure will not be able to play in the game because he has not fully recovered.
Toure’s absence will be a big blow for City but given how they beat Bournemouth City will be feeling confident as long as they can field the same starting XI.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side welcomed back Kevin De Bruyne from injury and the Belgian’s return is a massive boost for City as they face an in-form PSG side.
PSG have already won the Ligue 1 title and they look good bets to reclaim the domestic treble that they won last season.
Their real ambition lies with the Champions League though and they will be going all out to try and get into the next round.
