Chinese League tempts Messi with €100m a year offer

By Isoccer Staff

Hibei Fortune of the Chinese Super League, coached by Manuel Pellegrini, have attempted to lure Lionel Messi away from Barcelona with a huge offer, which comes out to 500m pounds for a five year deal.

The Blaugrana star still hasn’t renewed his contract with the Catalan giants, and many from the world over are hoping the Argentina ace decides to play his football elsewhere.

The 100m a year would be after taxes, making him by far the best paid ever.

Other European stars have already made the move, such as Ezequiel Lavezzi, Gervinho, Mbia and Kakuta.

Economically speaking, the club can back up their offer, though if Messi is even considering listening to their proposal is another matter altogether.
