John Obi Mikel has teased his Chelsea teammate Eden Hazard, saying he’s not as cool as he thinks he is.
The 29-year-old midfielder, who is yet to make at appearance for the Blues under Antonio Conte this season, was asked to match his teammates with the emoji that best describes them.
When asked whether the Belgium attacking midfielder was “Mr Cool”, Mikel rejected the title for Hazard, saying it’d be more suited to either him or Gary Cahill.
“Mr Cool? It depends. Eden thinks he’s the cool one, but definitely Hazard is not the cool one,” Mikel told Goal.
“I’d probably say me and Gaz [Cahill].”
The Nigeria international, who made one assist in 25 appearances for the Blues’ disappointing campaign last season, captained Nigeria to a bronze medal at the Rio Olympics in the summer.
Hazard has appeared in all Chelsea’s league games this season, netting two goals in their wins over West Ham and Burnley towards the start of their campaign under former Italy manager Conte.
Chelsea take on Leicester City after the international break, following their 2-0 win over Hull City in their last game.
