Super-agent Jorge Mendes wants to represent Marcus Rashford

Super-agent Jorge Mendes is hoping to convince Manchester United starlet Marcus Rashford that he’s the right man to represent him through his career.

Since making his first-team debut against FC Midtjylland in the Europa League in February, the 18-year-old striker has become a revelation at Old Trafford, scoring seven goals in 13 games in all competitions.

To further emphasis his rise, the teenager is still currently taking his A- levels while there has been much talk of a international call up to England’s senior team ahead of this summer’s European Championship.

Rashford is said to be looking to appoint an agent, as his current representatives are his family, before entering into official contract talks with United, who want to offer him a deal worth £15,000-a-week.

And, according to The Times, Mendes is hoping to add the teenage star to his long-list of clients, which includes Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho.

Rashford has scored four goals in his last eight Premier League appearances for United, converting an impressive 50% of his chances in the process.
