Midfielder Thomas Partey will have another scan to determine the severity of his injury, according to Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
The Ghanaian missed the team’s 2-1 Premier League victory over Fulham last Saturday at the Emirates Stadium because of a thigh injury he sustained in training. Now he is apparently set to miss a spell of game through the injury.

What Did Arteta Say About Partey Injury?
The 29-year-old suffered a thigh injury on April 4 last year during a 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. His absence was felt by the Gunners, who ultimately missed out on the Champions League spots, as he was sidelined the remainder of the season.
“I don’t think [the duo will recover in time to play Aston Villa on Wednesday],” Arteta confirmed to the club’s website ahead of the fixture.
“We still have to make another scan, especially on Thomas [Partey], to see the length but I do not think they will be available.
“It is a similar area [to the one that kept Partey out last season], but hopefully not as bad.”
Although, it is unclear how long he will be sidelined, Partey will undoubtedly miss this weekend’s crucial match at Old Trafford against Manchester United,
