Barcelona To Sell Up To Four Players Before The End Of The Week

There is not much time left before FC Barcelona commence their 2022/23 campaign.  However, the club must first deal with the difficult task of selling some of the squad’s less important players.

Recently, the Catalans were successful in letting off Oscar Mingueza to Celta Vigo. About four more  are likely to follow suit over the coming week as the club attempts to resolve its finances ahead of the new season.

Who Could Be Leaving Barcelona Soon?

By the close of this week, Barca is anticipated to offload up to three or four players, according to Gerard Romero.

Mingueza has been transferred permanently to Celta Vigo, although Barça has the right to repurchase him and will also receive a significant 50% sell-on fee.

Many anticipate that Riqui Puig will follow Mingueza’s example. The teenage midfielder has been strongly linked with a transfer to LA Galaxy but has no place in Xavi’s plans for next season. In actuality, the two parties will soon complete the move; it is just a matter of time.

Neto is another player who could join Puig through the exit door. The Brazilian is said to be on his way to Premier League club Bournemouth, with the two parties currently in advanced talks.

Other individuals, like Martin Braithwaite, could also depart the club by the end of the week.
