Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in signing Tottenham’s sensational hit-man, Harry Kane. The Premier League striker has long been revered by the German champions, who may show renewed interest if Kane is not locked into a new Spurs deal.
Kane, who is currently the all-time top scorer in Spurs’ history, is in the final 18 months of his current contract, which has increased rumors about where he will play in the future.
This was made worse by the lackluster manner in which Antonio Conte’s team was eliminated from the Champions League by AC Milan.
Uli Hoeness, a former president of Bayern Munich, contacted the England skipper about a possible summer transfer move after Wednesday’s stalemate against AC Milan. The former West German player, who resigned as president in 2019, is still one of the nine supervisory board members and explained how a majority vote could result in the club pursuing Kane.
What Did Hoeness Say About The Transfer?
“I would give my private opinion,” Hoeness told Sky Germany.
“But I am one of nine supervisory board members and if the other eight say he will be bought, then he will be bought! We live in a democracy.”

Despite his stellar displays for Tottenham, which have propelled him into the top three all-time goal scorers in the Premier League, Kane is yet to be decorated with a trophy.
The Bundesliga leaders are more than capable of making that promise to the 29-year-old, with Bayern being one of a number of top European teams rumored to be keeping an eye on his situation.
Bayern advanced to the quarterfinals in a brutal fashion as they defeated PSG 3-0 on aggregate on the same night that Spurs’ UCL run came to an abrupt end.
After failing to find a suitable replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who joined Barca last summer, Bayern are now pondering on signing a terrific goalscorer.
