In the race to win the Premier League this season, Manchester City star Bernardo Silva has challenged the narratives surrounding his team and title rivals Arsenal. It comes as the season enters its final few months, with the Gunners leading by eight points with one game remaining.
In recent weeks, both teams have found their stride, with every challenge thrown at their opponents drawing a response. The most recent example of this was City’s 4-1 victory over Liverpool in an early match on Saturday, only to be followed by Arsenal’s 4-1 victory over Leeds United
“Just enjoy the moment we are in,” Mikel Arteta said on the title race as reported by Football London. “We have nine games to go but we have a training session today that is going to enable us to be better as a team. If we go through the journey day by day, when the gong comes we are in the right state of mind. We are really looking forward to it. We have oxygen to grab instead of [gasps] ‘next game, next game’. We go to the next target and we go for it.”
Many pundits and fans are predicting which team will win the title, but City star Silva believes there is a hypocritical attitude toward the title race. “I think we’re playing our best football of the season,” Silva said following his team’s victory over Liverpool.

“Where we are right now is by far the best we’ve played.” Arsenal has a chance to win, but we will fight until the end. It can go either way. Some argue that ‘City is more experienced,’ while others argue that ‘oh, because they’ve won it before, they don’t want to win it again’.
