Brighton Boss Makes Sensational Newcastle United Claim Amid Man United & Liverpool Battle

Newcastle United’s win against Brighton and Hove Albion could come at a cost. Newcastle United appears to be without Joe Willock for the remainder of the 2022-23 Premier League season.

The former Arsenal midfielder hobbled out around the hour mark as Newcastle United thrashed Brighton and Hove Albion 4-1 on Thursday, moving closer to Champions League qualification.

Willock left with a 2-1 lead after an own goal by Deniz Undav and a header by Dan Burn. Undav got one back before Callum Wilson and Bruno Guimaraes sealed the victory late on.

Newcastle will finish in the top four if they beat Leicester City on Monday, and Willock is unlikely to play.Willock was a doubt after the game, according to Magpies head coach Eddie Howe, and photos afterwards have suggested the 23-year-old will not play again this season.According to Newcastle world

Meanwhile, Joelinton is a doubt for Leicester’s visit. Howe would be obliged to make two changes in his midfield without the Brazilian or Willock.

“The two Joes are a bit of a doubt for us,” Howe admitted. “I believe Joelinton took a knock, and Willock appears to have a hamstring injury.”

Newcastle hope to have Sean Longstaff available, while Elliot Anderson is also a possibility after replacing Willock. Lewis Miley, a member of England’s under-17 team, was also named on the bench.
