Louis Saha Touts Lionel Messi To Arsenal, Believes He’ll Adapt Well With Gunners

The future of Lionel Messi will likely be the biggest topic of discussion throughout the summer transfer window, and the soon-to-be free agent has now been tipped to succeed at Arsenal.

Louis Saha, a former striker for Manchester United, Tottenham, and Newcastle, believes Mikel Arteta is the type of manager who can bring the best out of the legendary Argentinean player.

The 2022 World Cup champion’s two seasons at Paris Saint-Germain have not gone as well as planned. This has led to the belief that he will leave the team this summer.

For long time, there have been rumors of a return to Barcelona, while other reports claim the 35-year-old could make almost £500m by joining Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia.

Saha added that a highly anticipated move to England may be advantageous for him and that Arteta’s Arsenal might be the best match.

“Lionel is a very smart player and can be an Arsenal type player,” Saha said to OLBG.com.

“He will have to have a manager that realises he is not going to run all day.

“Are Arsenal the players that can do the Xavi and Busquets role well? With Messi, you will be guaranteed 20-30 goals per season. He will also assist you in a lot of plays.

“It’s about finding the right balance which will help him fit in. But Messi will be exciting to have in the Premier League.”
