Chelsea Agree Personal Terms With Player Few Days After Sealing Caicedo’s Deal

Chelsea have reportedly sealed agreement on personal terms with Crystal Palace winger, Michael Olise with the deal edging closer than ever.

According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea are almost through with the player side of the negotiations. And are hoping to negotiate a £45 million ($57 million) deal for the 21-year-old attacker. This summer, the Frenchman has also been linked to Manchester City.

If Chelsea acquire Olise from Palace, their summer expenditure is going to surpass £400 million ($507 million). With a £115 million ($146 million) agreement, Mauricio Pochettino’s team has prised Brighton player Moises Caicedo away from Liverpool.

Romeo Lavia of Southampton is a player the Blues are also interested in acquiring. But on Monday, Liverpool had a £60 million ($76 million) offer accepted by the Championship outfit.

Although manager Roy Hodgson has previously acknowledged that the club will have to struggle to keep the 21-year-old, Palace are hesitant to sell Olise. It will be interesting to see if Chelsea succeed in getting their man.
