Cristiano Ronaldo Set To Spend At Least €21 million On Luxury Retirement Home To Settle Down After His Career

Cristiano Ronaldo, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, has started planning his retirement home in Portugal, which will cost him €21 million.

The opulent mansion is being built for the Portuguese star and his family in Quinta da Marinha, Cascais, barely 20 kilometres from Lisbon. According to an exclusive report by LOOK, the construction cost has jumped from €12 million to €21 million as a result of the global pandemic, the war in Ukraine, and inflation.

Despite the huge cost rise, the 37-year-old is said to be eager to pay whatever it takes to construct his residence in time for his post-retirement days.

The thoughtfully planned mansion is built on one hectare of urbanised land and has a floor area of more than 3000 square metres. The villa is going to be quite the luxurious address for the Manchester United striker, with a big garage for over 20 cars, two swimming pools, one indoor and one outdoor gym, a tennis court, and a number of magnificent rooms.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s retirement home is expected to be completed in the summer of 2023, however further delays are possible.

Cristiano Ronaldo Keeping An eye On The Villa

Cristiano Ronaldo has been visiting Portugal on a regular basis to supervise the progress and ensure the quality of his retirement home. The luxury details of the house are simply unparalleled, from the finest Italian marble to solid gold taps, a sophisticated heating system, and even an exclusive Louis Vuitton painting.

Ronaldo has also entrusted the decoration of his new villa to his wife, Georgina Rodriguez, and Paula Brito, a trusted decorator and friend. Brito, a native of Barcelos, Portugal, has decorated all of the five-time UEFA Champions League winner’s previous homes.
