Man United Transfer Target Sends Message To Varane After Wolves Winner

Manchester United transfer target, Benjamin Pavard has taken to social media to congratulate Raphael Varane for his goal which gave the Red Devils a 1-o win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday.

The former Real Madrid central defender was the key to United’s narrow 1-0 victory over Wolves on Monday night in the Premier League. Varane’s late goal helped Erik ten Hag’s team secure the three points despite a lackluster performance, coming from a cross by Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

According to Goal, after the victory, the goal scorer posted a photo to Instagram with the caption, “COME ONNNN!!!!!” in which he can be seen yelling in joy after scoring.

Several other notable individuals, including his United teammates Jadon Sancho and Bruno Fernandes, chimed in to congratulate the 2018 World Cup winner. Pavard was quick to reply to the post with two fire emojis in the comments section.

It is no surprise that United desire to acquire Pavard this summer. But have been unable to match Bayern Munich’s estimated asking price of €45 million (£39 million/$49 million).

Ten Hag is reportedly dissatisfied with either Wan-Bissaka or Diogo Dalot, his two present choices. And wants additional protection at right-back.

Pavard is seeking a move to the Premier League. But he is aware that, because the Bundesliga champions were unable to get Kyle Walker from Manchester City, he will only be permitted to leave for the right price.

On August 19, United will play again in the Premier League against Tottenham Hotspur. While Pavard may be obligated to take part in Bayern’s Bundesliga opener against Werder Bremen on the same day.
