And according to a Daily Mail report, the attacker, who will cost £50m this summer, is now a target for Newcastle United and Arsenal.
Williams’ contract features a release clause that may be worth up to £50m. However, it is unclear if Arsenal or Newcastle United will be willing to pay up the required sum.
The Spanish international is a tremendously talented young player who has a bright future ahead of him.
He definitely has the skills to become a top-tier Premier League attacker in the future.
Williams is a natural winger. However, he can play any position among the front three, and will provide creativity and goals to the side. The 20-year-old has contributed nine goals and six assists across all leagues.
Athletic Club will be hoping to hold on to their prized asset for as long as possible.
However, they are powerless to stop him from leaving if the £50m release clause is triggered in the summer.

The attacker has been linked with clubs like Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester United as well.
Arsenal could certainly use a versatile attacker like him next season. The Gunners have not been able to rotate their squad regularly because of the lack of options.
Meanwhile, Newcastle United need to add more depth to their attack as well.
It will be interesting to see if Newcastle are ready to pay £50m and beat Arsenal to his signature.
