The former Real Madrid star is expected to be sidelined for more than a month of action. The injury also couldn’t have happened at a worse moment.
Asensio was in full swing heading into the international break, scoring in back-to-back matches while assuming the role of a false No. 9. However, all that positive momentum will now hit a wall as he recovers.

PSG should be able to withstand the loss, considering the depth manager Luis Enrique has on the attack. The Parisien giants boast of Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele, Goncalo Ramos, and Kolo Muani in a star-studded frontline.
Nonetheless, many supporters will hope that this is a bump in the road for Asensio and he can get back on track to being an impactful player that he began to show before his injury.
