Manchester United Beat Liverpool 4-0 In Ten Hag’s First Game In Charge  

Manchester United preseason preparations are off to a good start. With goals from Jadon Sancho, Fred, Anthony Martial, and Facundo Pellistri, Erik ten Hag’s team dominated their friendly match against Liverpool in Bangkok on Tuesday.

Ten Hag selected a formidable starting eleven for Manchester United, with David De Gea, Victor Lindelof, Raphael Varane, Luke Shaw, Diogo Dalot, Fred, Scot McTominay, Martial, and Marcus Rashford.

In the second half, players including recently acquired Tyrell Malacia, Amad Diallo, Alex Telles, Eric Bailly, Donny van de Beek, Anthony Elanga, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka came into the game.

Jurgen Klopp’s starting lineup for Liverpool included Allison, Jordan Henderson, Luis Diaz, Joe Gomez, and Roberto Firmino.

The German coach then brought in regulars like Mohamed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk, Fabinho, Ibrahima Konate, Naby Keita, and Thiago Alcantara.

Manchester united took the lead in the 12th minute through Sancho, and Fred added a second in the 30th.

The third goal, by Martial, came just three minutes after Fred’s, while the fourth, by substitute Pellestri, came in the 76th.

On Friday, Manchester United will play another friendly against Melbourne Victory in Australia, while Liverpool will play Crystal Palace in Singapore.
